Bio

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Jasmin grew up part of the Jazz scene of Copenhagen to Jazz musician parents. Some of her first influences of Jazz included, Horace Parlan, Ed Thigpen, Grandpa Richard Boone, Debbie & Etta Cameron, Vera Love, Horace Silver and Betty Carter to name a few.

Jasmin sang at the age of 9 months old at a production of The Dame Deborah Show. She sang again at 11 months on Songs for Our Child Vol.1 produced by her bassiest father, Rene’ Gledorf and singing mother DeBorah Herbert.

2003 Jasmin went to Sankt Annæ Music School in Copenhagen in the Classical Danish Girls choir
2009 Pakalolo won the Spot Fesival contest for all efterskoles in the country.
2013 she recorded her first CD. Watch How I Move a Lurifax production.
2013 DJing and sanging at various clubs in Copenhagen.
2018 Jazz Malaika and the Amytations in tribute to Amy Winehouse Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
2022  Ma Earth and Jazz Malaika Band.  They perform all genres of music from Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Rock n Roll, Soul, Hip Hop all with a Funky Fantastic band of Gentlemen.
